ACWI staff are trained for Afrocentric Clinical Therapeutic Practice with individuals, families, groups and youth. We recognize the stressors facing African, Caribbean and Black-Identifying communities rooted in historical, inter-generational and ongoing traumas. We recognize that social and health disparities increase our risks and exposure to mental health issues.
Our team is excited to begin offering culturally-informed Afrocentric counselling services in coming months. During this pandemic season, our trained clinicians are available to meet with your over the phone or via video conference. Service details will be posted here as they are available.
